Information

N180 B in 1981.
After one season and one race in F1 World Championship, this car was first raced in British Championship in 1982 with Ensign and Jim Crawford. It claimed 3 victories in 5 races and won the title. Later the car was sold to the US, raced in the Can-Am series, and modified to closed wheel spec. It performed very well, achieved 2 victories and 5 podium finishes in one season and a half, finished 2nd overall in 1983.
Currently it was owned by University of Bolton and run by students in classic F1 races, restored to original open wheel spec. Johnny Herbert was also involved in the project. The car won 2021 Silverstone Classic
