Information
Type 57C Ventoux > Cabriolet by Gangloff
Engine No56C
This was Ettore's personal car as a Ventoux for which he borrowed the license plate and papers of #57333. He kept it until his death after which Geneviève DELCUZE (Ettore's wife) inherited it. It received a Gangloff Stelvio body and the borrowed chassis plate (in Molsheim stampings) and papers of '57453' (the previous number of the demolished 'Aerolithe') and was sold to Roger Barlow who flew it with Sky World International to Los Angeles in 1949.
In 1950 it was used for the movie Captain Carey USA.
The car has a British loaner plate but has never been in the UK.
