Information
Painted in light green, which is Stirling Moss' normal colour. Moss got P2 at 1959 British GP with this car.
At German GP, Hans Herrmann crashed the car. The car went airborne and rolled over. Herrmann was thrown onto the track, hence, he was unharmed, but the car was destroyed.
Later, the Donington Grand Prix collection decided to rebuild this car, although they used as many as possible original parts, the chassis was new, and BRM factory was not involved. So the car displayed at Donington is considered as a replica.
