Information
Built new ahead of the 2011 season, complete with the upgraded semi-automatic gearbox, this was one of the two cars campaigned in the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup (with the exception of the North American rounds) under the BMW Motorsport banner by Schnitzer. Driven by Augusto Farfus and Jörg Müller throughout the year, it struggled in the newly formed and hugely competitive GTE Pro class. The Brazilian/German driver pairing did manage to clinch a class win in the season final at Zhuhai. It was also the last time this M3 GT2 was raced
