The second chassis produced for the 2009 season, this car was used for test and development purposes while the sister cars were raced in the United States with the BMW Rahal Letterman Racing team. The car helped the BMW Team Schnitzer prepare for the Nürburgring 24 Hours and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It was later also campaigned in VLN races on the Nürburgring in 2009 and 2010, scoring several podium finishes. Following its period racing career, it eventually made its way back into the Schnitzer Classic fold
