Information
This example was delivered to the Bobby Brown Racing team ahead of the 1987 season. It was fitted with a production-based Buick V6 engine that proved very powerful but equally fragile. First raced at Road Atlanta in April of 1987, it made less than a handful of contemporary appearances. At each outing, it retired early, which might explain why it was abandoned so soon. Disappeared from sight for many years, it was discovered by chance by an enthusiast at the Mosler factory in Florida. It is understood that Mosler was responsible for the tuning of the Buick V6 engine, which may explain why the car was at their facility. It was soon after repatriated to the United Kingdom and was completely restored, with the final assembly entrusted to specialists Phil Stott Motorsport.
