Information
This example was sold to Swiss racer Hans Egenter, who had the car fitted with a Cosworth DFV engine. Egenter campaigned the car with considerable success in the International Swiss Championship, which was held at tracks like Mugello, Dijon and the Hockenheimring. During 1987, Egenter scored three victories, but in 1988 could do no better than second. Ahead of the 1989 season, the JM19B was sold to fellow Swiss racer Ruedi Jauslin. He also raced the car in the Swiss championship, but also campaigned it in Supercup and Interserie events. At the 1989 Supercup Diepholz round, he finished 10th overall and first in the C2 class. He continued to campaign for the car through to the fall of 1993. Following its retirement, the Argo was restored to its original configuration for historic racing. The livery applied today is a copy of the JM19 raced at Le Mans in 1988.
