Information
One of two Alfa Romeo 8C’s in Australia. (both Spider)
Originally allocated to the son of Colonel Gaddaffi (Libyan revolutionary and politician known for his ruling of Libya, prior to outbreak in war and assasination from NATO forces)
However due to unknown circumstances (likely growing tensions in the region) his son had rejected the allocation in early stages prior to build.
The allocation was offered around, where it was noted by Australian region Ferrari, Maserati and Alfa Romeo importer, Neville Crighton.
The allocation was discussed at the Melbourne F1 GP with a VIP customer of Zagame, and Ferrari collector, who had expressed interest in the 8C Competizione prior, but declined due to demand, and the car not being offered in he Australian market.
The first owner agreed on the allocation, and specified the car at the Alfa Romeo factory in Italy.
