Information
Alfa Romeo 1900C SS Ghia Americano, one of 21 Ghia-bodied 1900C chassis between 1954 and 1955. This one came as a collaboration between Gian Paolo Boano and Giovanni Savonuzzi for Al 'Papagayo' Williams and featured design cues more fitted towards its American client primarily in the headlights, bumpers, the added fins and the taillight clusters. Two of these Americano chassis were bodied, the other one based on a longer chassis and in collaboration with Abarth.
