Riccardo Patrese commented on this car as the worst car he has ever driven.
At 1985 Monaco Grand Prix, Patrese was battling with Nelson Piquet, the two collided and the Alfa Romeo's leaked oil burst into flames. Piquet's Brabham was written off but Patrese's Alfa Romeo was saved. Both driver was unharmed.
