Personal collection of British motorcar dealer & specialist, Simon Kidston.
Owner
Simon Kidston is one of the world’s most prominent & valued high end car dealer and broker.
Originally from the UK, Kidston runs Kidston Motorcars out of Europe, his business for facilitating the sale, brokering and restoration of fine classics, sports & supercars, many of which include extremely important and valuable trades that are undocumented to the open market.
Kidston is notorious for his consultation on the classic car market, procurement & commentary on all things fine automobiles, often a go to consultant, & concours and motoring event regular.
Throughout his life from his early days growing up in Dorchester, UK, he was surrounded by motorcars & culture, the son of well known car collector & racer, Commander Home Kidston, and nephew of 1920s ‘Bentley Boy’ Commander Glen Kidston.
Featured here, the personal collection, one of the world’s most tastefully curated collections of 20th century classics, a stand out being the 1973 Carrera RS 2.7, originally owned from new by his father, passed onto Simon post Commander Home Kidston’s passing in the 90’s, and to which he never plans to sell.
