Founded in 1919 and based in the UK, Coys has decades of experience in selling classic cars. Various auctions are held each year throughout Europe such as Monaco, the Netherlands, France, Germany, and Italy in addition to the country in which they are based.

After various legal issues, fraudulent business activities, and growing debt, Coys went bankrupt in 2020. However, the company was bought out in June of 2020 and is now under the name: Coys of London Automobiles Ltd. The new owner of the auction house has an excellent reputation which gives a bode of confidence that Coys auctions would return in the future.
