The HSR Type 859 is a fully analog, modern re-engineering of the legendary Audi Sport Quattro. Strictly limited to 84 units globally, the vehicle is built upon a restored and shortened Audi Coupe B2 chassis. It features a longitudinal 5-cylinder engine, a reinforced gated manual gearbox, and permanent mechanical all-wheel drive, delivering an uncompromising, visceral driving experience.
The vehicle's architecture is a comprehensive re-engineering of the classic platform, strictly prioritizing dynamic balance for modern hypercar standards. The wheelbase is extended beyond the original Sport Quattro Stradale, moving the front axle 10 to 15 cm forward and the rear axle 10 cm backward. Every visible exterior panel is fabricated from aerospace-grade carbon fiber, widened by 65mm per side, and paired with active aerodynamics.
Each vehicle utilizes a period-correct Audi Coupe B2 donor chassis.
The Type 859 is a direct homage to the Group B rally era. The strict 84-unit production limit honors Audi's 1984 World Rally Championship double victory (Manufacturers' and Drivers' Titles) with Stig Blomqvist. Furthermore, the vehicle features an active exhaust system with two side-exit pipes paying direct homage to the Audi Sport Quattro S1 Pikes Peak.
