About this model
The early 1930s were a difficult time for Horch: the Horch 12 was not a success. The 400 series was increasingly perceived as old-fashioned. In addition, competitors from the US were gaining an ever-increasing foothold on the German market. It was against this backdrop that the new 700 series was launched in 1932. It offered little that was technically new but was a captivating sight with its modern body style designed by Herrmann Ahrens.
