Delage D6-11

About this model

A six-cylinder M 13 engine powered the vehicles. It had a bore of 75 mm and a stroke of 75.5 mm. This resulted in a displacement of 2001 cm³. The engine produced 60 hp. In addition to the normal version, there were the L and S variants. The latter had an M 14 engine.

The chassis had a track width of 1480 mm at the front and 1440 mm at the rear. The wheelbase was 3060 mm. The vehicles were 1720 mm wide. The curb weight was between 1360 kg and 1480 kg, depending on the body. It was the first Delage model with independent front suspension.

Bodies as two- and four-door sedans, coupés, convertibles, roadsters, Pullman limousines and Brougham are known.

In October 2006, Peter Jacobs of the Delage Register of Great Britain compiled an overview of production figures and the number of vehicles that still exist. For this model, he confirms the construction period from 1933 to 1935. Of about 1728 vehicles produced, 60 still exist and 18 of approximately 473 Type D.6.11 S.
