Announced in 1999 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Aston Martin’s victory at Le Mans, the Vantage Le Mans featured a bigger front air dam, blanked-off grille and wing vents in the manner of the DBR1. Reversing and high-intensity lights were built into a revised rear spoiler, while sporting touches included perforated brake and clutch pedals, an aluminium gear lever knob and brushed metal panels instead of the traditional wood veneers.
