Spa Classic

Spa, Wallonia, Belgium
About the Event
Every year in May, the mythical Spa-Francorchamps circuit, nestled in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes, resounds to the sound of the engines of yesteryear on the occasion of the Spa Classic. This unmissable event brings together historic racing cars, offering enthusiasts a real journey through time through the most beautiful eras of motorsport.
Created by the organizer Peter Auto, also at the origin of the famous Le Mans Classic, the Spa Classic has established itself as one of the largest European events dedicated to the historical competition. For a whole weekend, mythical cars tread the legendary asphalt of Spa, known for its iconic curves such as the Eau Rouge and the Raidillon. The trays follow one another with an impressive diversity of vehicles: prototypes of the 24 Hours of Le Mans of the 70s and 80s, GTs of the sixties, passenger cars of the 70s and classic Porsche 911.
Beyond the races, the event seduces with its unique atmosphere, both festive and family. The paddock is open to the public, allowing everyone to approach the cars, exchange with the teams or stroll through the stands of spare parts, miniatures and vintage objects. Collectors' clubs are also in the spotlight, proudly displaying their vehicles around the circuit and sometimes participating in parades on the track.
Between adrenaline, automotive heritage and conviviality, the Spa Classic is much more than a series of races: it is a living celebration of the history of the automobile, in a natural setting as spectacular as it is full of history.
