The Lancia Delta, unveiled in 1978, is considered one of the most interesting youngtimers to collect. The car offered for sale, an HF Turbo licensed on October 17th 1985 with registration number MI 00000Z, has an important history: it was given to Andrea Zagato (then a student, and today the highly active president of the family company) by his parents. On receiving his new car, Andrea modified it aesthetically, in accordance with the Zagato tradition and his own personal tastes. A full and detailed list of the changes made, all of which have been retained, can be found in a letter, signed by Andrea Zagato himself, that was sent in 2012 to its second owner who had purchased it in 1996. It was bought by its current owner in 2013. Andrea Zagato’s old Delta HF Turbo is still in excellent condition; only the dashboard is starting to show the first signs of age. It is a wonderful and important example of auto customization, as well as an object of considerable historical value.
