Information
Upgraded to FW43B specification for 2021 season.
During the 2021 Belgian Grand Prix, George Russell made an amazing qualifying lap that put him in P2, becoming his first ever front row. However, during the race day there was a torrential rain which impeded to compete. The FIA, on a controversial move, opted to do 3 laps under the Safety Car, which made the race valid for the championship. This meant that the results would be based on the qualifying results, which meant Russell would finish P2, his first ever podium finish and Williams' first since 2017 Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
