Information
During 2013 Monaco GP, Pastor Maldonado was overtaking Max Chilton, but Chilton didn't see him approaching. The two cars collided and sent Maldonado into the wall. Both the FW35 chassis and the wall were damaged, and the race was red-flagged to repair the wall. Maldonado avoided injury with only slight bruise.
Currently displayed at Haynes Motor Museum as a bare monocoque, as the main part of driver safety theme exhibition. According to race results, FW35 with the same chassis number was used again in later races. Because the monocoque on display has the exact same damage from the race, it's unlikely that the damaged chassis was repaired to race, and damaged again intentionally for display. Presumably Williams redesignated the same chassis number to a newly built monocoque.
