1997 Championship winner.
Michael Schumacher was leading the Championship by 1 point before the last race of 1997, European GP at Jerez. Schumacher collided with his title rival Jacques Villeneuve. Had them both retired, Schumacher would be the champion, like he did to Damon Hill in 1994. However, this time Schumacher was disqualified from the Championship, and Villeneuve took the title.
Currently this car still wears the original sidepods which Schumacher damaged.
