Information
Built for the 1998 British Touring Car Championship, where it was driven by Gianni Morbidelli.
At the end of the season, the car was shipped to Australia, where it won the Bathurst 1000 in the hands of Rickard Rydell and Jim Richards.
Remaining in Australia for 1999, it was used by Richards in the Australian Super Touring Championship and by Richards and Cameron McLean in the Bathurst 500
The car was returned to Sweden and restored by SportsPromotion
In 2002, the car was returned to Volvo and presented to Rickard Rydell. Since then, it has remained in the Bilsports Museum in Karlskrona.
