Information
The A-Car is the main DeLorean used during the filming of Back to the Future. It is the Hero Car, chosen for close-up shots, scenes with the actors, and any moment requiring detailed visibility of the time-travel components (dashboard, time circuits, Mr. Fusion, flux capacitor). It was used in iconic sequences in front of the Hill Valley clock tower, when Doc explains the machine to Marty, in the scenes where Marty climbs into the car, and for the departure on the Twin Pines Mall parking lot. It is the most iconic DeLorean of the trilogy, the one immediately associated with the film.
