Built as a one-off special by TVR in 1985 with lightweight Kevlar and fibreglass bodywork. Initially fitted with a 4.2-litre V8 but later developed using a 4.5 Rover/TVR V8.
Raced successfully by TVR Factory driver Steve Cole, 21 class wins out of 24 races. It was banned shortly afterwards when it became clear that TVR hadn't quite built the number of cars that they had claimed on the Homologation paperwork. The car was then used for promotional purposes and the occasional race.
