Rebranded as Force India VJM01 in 2008.
At 2007 European Grand Prix, Markus Winkelhock replaced Christijan Albers. The formation lap started in dry condition, but soon it poured heavily. Winkelhock was the only driver to pit for wet tyres. As a result, all others needed to pit, and Winkelhock starting from pit lane led with a huge advantage. However later he lost his advantage and then retired from the race. This was Markus Winkelhock's only F1 race, but managed to lead.
