Information
At 1994 Spanish Grand Prix, only once race after Roland Ratzenberger's death, Simtek recruited Andrea Montermini (at Monaco they only entered one car), and a new chassis was designated to Montermini. During qualifying, Montermini ran wide at last corner, the car went on grass and lost control and hit the concrete barrier heavily. The front end of the monocoque was torn off, and Montermini broke his ankles. This was the 6th and last severe F1 accident with injury happened with in one month.
