Information
Originally White over Red.
Sold new to Ford Motor Company, who sent the car to Dearborn Steel Tubing to have its body removed. The chassis was then used as the base for the Ford Cougar II, a design study intended to build hype for the upcoming Mustang.
Displayed at the 1964 New York World's Fair.
After its show career, the car was donated to the Detroit Historical Society, who maintain ownership to this day.
