- One Of Only Four 289 Dragonsnakes Ever Built
- One Of The Most Successful Cobras Ever Known
- Delivered to Shelby American painted in Bright Blue with a Black Interior, but was otherwise left largely unfinished
- Due to lack of funds for factory drag racing, this car was put into storage until Ed Hugus of Continental Cars Pittsburgh requested to have the car finished for a customer
- Shelby decided to build the car but had to make some modifications per the customers request
- Was delivered to Ed Hugus in summer 1965 but there were several issues that needed to be addressed
- As a result, it was repainted British Racing Green and other work was performed before being sold to its first owner
- Under the 2nd owner, participated at autocross or hill climb events all through the Northeast; the car took home an unequalled amount of trophies. Competed in SCCA/ Autocross/ Hill Climbs/ and SVRA for most of its life.
