Information
Charles Leclerc's F1 debut car.
At the start of 2018 Belgian Grand Prix, Nico Hülkenberg locked up at turn 1 and hit Fernando Alonso in the rear. The McLaren was shoveled into the air and landed on Leclerc's car. The floor of Alonso's car hit the halo of Leclerc's car, or Leclerc's head would've been hit, which could have led to serious injury. This was the first time when halo actually saved the life of a driver in F1. Like it was destined, the introduction of halo was exactly pushed by the fatal accident of Leclerc's godfather and close friend, Jules Bianchi at 2014 Japanese Grand Prix.
