Information
In the heavy rains at 2014 Japanese Grand Prix, Adrian Sutil crashed at Dunlop Curves. There was a crane tractor cleaning away the Sauber, and Marussia's Jules Bianchi lost control at the same corner and crashed into the site. Bianchi's car hit the tractor at a speed of 212 km/h, and the impact reached 254G. The tractor along with the Sauber lifted in the air were thrown off the ground, and then the Sauber fell to the ground from the tractor. Bianchi's head was seriously injured, and he passed away 9 months later due to brain injury. This was the last fatality in F1 World Championship.
Adrian Sutil stood right beside the accident site, and witnessed the whole process. The Sauber chassis was never used again, presumably written off, or the team decided to not race it again due to its tragic history.
