RUF BTR Slantnose Cabriolet - It is one of two that has a W09 RUF VIN and this configuration. It appeared on Road & Track's cover in May 1987. It has numerous custom upgrades from RUF in Pfaffenhausen, Germany when new including paint to sample in Ferrari 300/6 red, custom leather interior surfaces and leather convertible boot cover, Recaro seats with multiple electric controls, and full RUF BTR II 3.4L build with engine, turbo, RUF 5 speed transmission, oil cooler, suspension and body front and rear spoiler upgrades.
This car was originally owned by Bill Mow, the CEO of Bugle Boy Jeans and has been hidden away in private collections for years in Connecticut, Canada, Texas, Nevada and California. During Bill Mow's ownership, Howard Becker was commissioned to design, develop and install a hand-built custom stereo system. Serviced by RAC Dallas (RUF Authorized) in 2008 and Reno Rennsport in 2018. Detailed by Larry Kosilla at AMMO NYC in 2021.
