Information
Built by Renault Sport as a prototype for the 1994 British Touring Car Championship and it was used for test and development work.
At the end of the season the car was rebuilt by MCT and run in the FIA Touring Car World Cup with David Leslie joining the team for a one-off drive. Leslie was involved in a multi-car accident, leading to the race being red flagged.
Following this event the chassis 1, 2 & 4 were transferred to Williams Touring Car Engineering to aid with development of the 1995 cars, however the damage to this car meant that it was not used and was scrapped.
