Information
The Renault Filante Record 2025 is a single-seat experimental electric prototype developed as a test platform for energy efficiency. It uses an 87 kWh battery and lightweight construction of about 1,000 kg, combined with steer-by-wire and brake-by-wire systems. The vehicle was designed to optimize aerodynamics and reduce energy consumption under real driving conditions.
On 18 December 2025, at the UTAC track near Ouarzazate, it completed 1,008 km in 9 hours and 52 minutes, with an average speed of 102 km/h and a consumption of 7.8 kWh per 100 km, with around 11% battery remaining.
Between its first public presentation at the Rétromobile show in February 2025 and the final record run, the car’s appearance was modified: the body panels above the wheels were redesigned, and the headlights were changed due to aerodynamic and functional adjustments made during development.
