Previously in California. The car was purchased in 2007, with 961 miles, by an American dealer in Brazil. Import regulations did not allow the Carrera GT to enter the country legally. A Murcielago and other cars were therefore imported with this CGT, the odometer was modified to display 64 miles and protective films were added to make the car 'new'. However, during the import, the owner was sentenced to 50 years in prison for money laundering, which led the authorities to seize the cars and place them in a warehouse. In 2012, the cars were put up for auction, but the owner had the sale cancelled. Then in 2019, an agreement was reached and the authorities were able to sell the cars. The result of the sale and the current location is unkown.
