Owned by prominent internet marketing pioneer Ben Keaton. While at a track day at California Speedway, Keaton met Corey Rudi, a fellow internet marketer. Rudi said he was considering buying a Carrera GT, and Keaton offered to give him a ride around the track in his. While going around the speedway, another car entered the track ahead of them, and they had to swerve to get out of the way. Keaton ended up losing control and crashing into a retaining wall at over 100 MPH. Both Keaton and Rudi were killed on impact.
