Originally finished in Silver Metallic. After the adjustable dampers caused problems, the owner had sports dampers fitted. When Porsche had managed to sort the issues with the original dampers, they offered to restore the car to original condition but upon arrival of the owner, Porsche was not able to locate the original dampers. The owner demanded the complete conversion to 959 S specification as compensation, which was approved by the Porsche management as a consequence of which this car is considered the 30th 959 S built.
