Information
This 918 Spyder was involved in an accident in which it crashed into a truck, getting wedged underneath it. The 918 Spyder sustained major front end damage and the structural integrity of the monocoque was compromised (see Gallery for photos of the damage). The cosmetic damage was repaired by a third party shop in British Columbia (not a Porsche dealer) and the car went to Italy to have the windshield pillar repaired. As of late 2023, the car had been fixed, but it was noted for its poor panel gaps from the repair.
The crash history and extensive damage was not reported truthfully to CarFax, but instead it was logged as a 'minor' incident. The car was offered for sale and sold at Barrett-Jackson's Arizona 2024 auction with the crash history undisclosed. In March 2024, it was for sale at McLaren Charlotte in North Carolina and, once again, the seller was not disclosing the significant crash history.
One of six 918 Spyder painted in Acid Green — the only Canadian Acid Green 918 delivery.
