The previous owner bought the car for track days, and slid into the pit wall on his third event at Calabogie Motorsports Park in Eastern Ontario. Repairs were performed at a high standard with an emphasis on using genuine Porsche parts, salvaging as many original items as possible, and repainting only what was needed. The work was completed by Porsche specialists Mark Motors in Ottawa over a two-year period at a cost of over $22k CAD.
