Information
Chassis 014R is the 14th of the 20 units produced. It was first delivered on May 9, 1968, to its initial French owner, Michel Bayol. According to the Porsche certificate, the car was finished in Light Ivory from the factory. A month later, the first owner sold the 911 to Nicolas Bonfort, also from Marseille, who registered it for the first time on July 1, 1968. One month later, he sold it to Francesco de Leonibus of Turin, Italy, who in turn sold it to Spanish driver Estanislao Reverter in October 1968. During this period, the 911 R was repainted orange in the colors of the 'Escuderia Orense' racing team, to which it belonged. It has retained this livery to this day. During its early years, it competed in the following races.
In 1972, this 911 R was sold by Alex Soler-Roig to the Italian Carlo Noce. Less than ten years later, it was acquired by Jean-Claude Kauffman. He sold it on January 14, 1983, to French driver Guy Chasseuil, who kept it for four decades. Restored in 1990, the car has covered only 3,910 kilometers since. In 2017, a planned sale led to the car obtaining French registration, a FIVA identity card, an FIA historic technical passport, and a Porsche certificate. The vehicle's history was established based on an expert report dated October 1, 2018, and associated documents. Subsequently, the car remained in the hands of a Monegasque collector before finally being acquired by Mechatronik in 2025.
