Information
This Porsche 911 RSR is one of the 2 Prototypes based on a damaged 1972 bodyshell. It was used by Porsche for the development and homologation of the 911 RSR Gr.4. It raced competitively with Martini Racing, notably at the 1972 1000 km of Zeltweg (10th) and the 1973 Targa Florio (6th). A test and press vehicle, it was tested at Paul Ricard and by Dunlop in England. It retains its short-stroke 2.8 L engine no. 6622006, already entered in the chassis R3 and chassis R6 in endurance racing. After several international owners, it is now in France, testifying to its historic role as an RSR prototype.
