The second owner was Herr Velkovski from Germany, being known personally to the dealership salesman Stefan Schmucker. He knew the car to be well-maintained and cherished by this customer and was naturally surprised when, whilst driving on the autobahn with the mileage at 24,985 (40,211 kms), it suffered an engine fault for an unknown reason. This resulted in Porsche, on the 1st July 2013, taking the car into its workshops at Oberschwaben and fitting a brand new replacement engine.
