First ever car modified by Manthey Racing, named as MR001.
In 1997, Olaf Manthey, the founder of current Manthey Racing, modified this 993 Cup to what is called 993 Cup RSR MR, and raced it at Nürburgring several times, and at Daytona and Sebring as well. This car was the start of the future Porsche GT factory team Manthey Racing, it also brought Manthey Racing the first of their countless victories.
