Peugeot 405 Super Touring

Information

One of 4 cars built by Peugeot Sport France for the 1995 Championnat de France de Supertourisme, and driven by Laurent Aïello and Philippe Alliot. The cars would often be switched between the drivers so it is not known which driver used which specific chassis at which races, although there is evidence to suggest that this chassis was primarily used by Aïello.
In 1996, this and the sister car (PS 95-02), plus the disassembled PS 95-03 were purchased by Ernst Wiedmer.
In 1996 the car was run in the Swiss Supertouring series for Jacques Isler and later for Johnny Hauser.
Hauser would again drive the car in 1997 to become Swiss series champion, as well as a couple of outing in the French series.
For 1998, the car was driven in the Swiss and French series by Norbert Zehnder. At the Jun 1998 meeting at Charade the car suffer major accident damaged, after which re-shelled using PS 95-04 as a donor.
The car would continue to be used, mostly for Swiss hillclimbs until 2000.
In 2006 the car was sold to Thierry Mathez.
