Information
Built in 1993 for the Campionato Italiano Superturismo. Although claimed to be an ex-Fabrizio Giovanardi car, the picture in the logbook shows the car carrying race number 5, which would make it an ex-Gary Ayles. The date on the logbook (16/07/93) suggests that the car was only used for the final four meetings of the year.
Subsequent history is largely unknown, although there are indications that after leaving Italy, it spent time racing in Switzerland. Eventually sold to an Angola-based driver.
In 2012, the car was rediscovered, having been stripped and spending several years abandoned outside and covered in a tarpaulin.
