This car was transformed into a T16 Evo 1 by Bouhier Engineering at Balkancar's request for the rally. It started competing in 1985 and took part in six European Championship rallies with Bulgarian driver Ilia Tchoubrikov. Following the banning of Gr. B cars from rallying at the end of the 1986 season, the car was entered in the European Hill Climb Championship from 1987. It finished 2nd in 1988 and 1989 and won the championship in 1990.
