Information
One-off road legal version made for homologating the Nissan R390 GT1 for competing at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1997. Originally painted in red for that year and had a shorter tail, just as the race cars of that year had.
For 1998 the race car received a longer tail and had to be homologated again. In order to do that, the road car was lengthened accordingly and painted blue, and it stayed like this to this day.
There is a single road-going chassis built for homologation, there were never two. Nowadays Érik Comas owns one of the racing chassis that Andrea Chiavenuto and SPEED Official converted for road usage and painted it white, but it is not a homologation chassis.
