Information

Mirage GR7
Originally built in 1973 as the fourth of five M6s, this car was upgraded the following year to GR7 specification along with two of its sister cars.
In its M6 guise and as chassis 604, it was first raced at the 24 Hours of Le Mans by Mike Hailwood, John Watson and Vern Schuppan. The car ran as high as third until Schuppan lost control and the car ended up on the Armco barrier. Once repaired and raced again at Watkins Glen where Hailwood and Watson finished a delayed fifth.
