Information
The MG EX234 was a mid-1960s one-off prototype designed as a possible successor to both the Midget and MGB. Styled by Pininfarina with clean Italian lines and a tidy Kamm-style tail, it packed advanced engineering for its time — four-wheel independent suspension, disc brakes all around, rack-and-pinion steering, and a 1.3L A-Series engine with Hydrolastic suspension. Test drivers loved its sharp handling, but despite its promise, MG shelved the project because the MGB and Midget were still selling strongly. In the end, it became a beautifully engineered what-if from MG’s golden era.
