Information
680 Type S W06 Tigerjagdwagen (Tiger-Hunting Car) 'Nawab of Bhopal'. Tiger hunting was an important hobby for Hajji Khan. He had already ordered a Bentley for these hunts in 1926, and ordered a special fighter car construction from the renowned English company Thrupp & Maberly, carriage maker of His Royal Majesty Queen Victoria. Almost two years later, he ordered a new hunting car from Daimler-Benz, specially bodied for this purpose in Sindelfingen. There are many confusions and errors in the information from India and Pakistan, starting with the original body manufacturer of the hunting car, which is incorrectly stated as Thrupp & Maberly, and not, as it should have been called, the bodywork of Daimler-Benz AG in Sindelfingen.
