Information
500K Roadster Limousine by Sindelfigen. Commissioned by Hitler for Rudolf Caracciola. Then it was bought by Benito Mussolini as a gift for his nephew (whom he later had executed). Lied abandoned and owned by Klein’s sons. The Mercedes Classic Center offered to restore it for free, but were refused. It has been presumed that this could be one of the most valuable Mercedes in history. The car was offered for sale to Mr. Haenle when it was measured and photographed to make a production JO-HAN model kit of the car. Needless to say that he passed on it.
